The Hanover Junior Varsity improved to 9-1 on the season Tuesday, surviving a late Kearsarge rally to win a 6-5 shootout. The Marauders held a three-goal lead for most of the match, and were able to withstand the Cougar flurry in the final minutes.
Connor Gordon and Ryan Brigham each scored twice for Hanover, with single goals in the second half from Alex Dodds and Keegan Gantrish, whose family accounted for at least half of the audience. Daniel Hernandez picked up an assist on Gordon's second goal, and played one of his best games of the season at midfield.
